Europe takes its next step in constructing its own navigation satellite constellation at lunchtime on Thursday 17 December, with the launch of the eleventh and twelfth Galileo satellites. Galileo 11 and 12 are due for launch atop a Soyuz rocket at 11:51 GMT (12:51 CET, 08:51 local time) atop a Soyuz rocket from French Guiana. Streaming starts at 11:31 GMT (12:31 CET). The webstream will cover the launch and orbital insertion in two parts, with a break at 12:21 GMT (13:21 CET) before resuming at 15:25 GMT (16:25 CET).
